We love to celebrate the seasons at our bakery, and occasionally, we introduce exclusive seasonal varieties to our menu—like Cranberry for Halloween or Red Currant to ring in the New Year. Our bakery has become more than a workplace; it's a community where those refugees find solace, purpose, and a sense of belonging. Our team consists of several recent Ukrainian refugees who work out of our small commercial kitchen located in the heart of Berkeley. We bake authentic rugelach using centuries-old recipes, but what we bake is not just a pastry; it's a beacon of hope, resilience, and shared humanity.
