Why We Exist

The conflict in Ukraine has forced many Ukrainians to flee their homes and seek refuge around the world, including in the United States. However, finding jobs has been challenging for many.

Outbaking is committed to helping refugees, especially bakers, who have exceptional skills in making traditional Eastern European recipes passed down through generations. Our mission is to support these displaced chefs as they integrate into their new communities, and introduce their baked goods to consumers around the world. Each pastry sold helps a Ukrainian family purchase the things they need to live and adapt.

By building a community and creating opportunities for newcomers to apply their talents and skills, Outbaking hopes to make them feel more welcome and appreciated.
